I have always loved to jump, play and do crazy things, but I am also fascinated by Bruce Lee and his style! So when I was in Shanghai traveling I started to jump over bikes, because that way one can easily tell how high the jump is, and it was more fun to jump over something.

In Thailand, after a lot of jumps at different places, I started doing this special kind of "Raphael-Flying-Stlye" jump. Later on, I practiced a lot and finally it became easy for me to repeat the jump. Not aware of what this would become in the future, I did not really take a lot of jumping pictures in Asia or Australia - too bad, but at the beginning it was just for fun and without any serious purpose!

Nevertheless I gathered several cool "flying" pictures on my big Asian Journey and I continued once back in Europe. After numerous pictures, my brother Emanuel took my favorite in Cajamarca, Peru. I got so many positive and inspiring comments that I wanted to make something out of my "flying around the world" series. So, during my Euro Road Trip I also started to capture videos of my jumps.

Later I was looking for an attractive possibility to show my pictures in a more visual way and the result was Google Earth. I combined the video and the "flying" pictures and started to put it all together. At the beginning I thought it would not take me much time, but in the end the "Flying around the World" video took me months of not daily, but often intense work. The hardest part was to select the pictures, because every photo means a lot to me and I remember all the good moments traveling with my friends, the people I met and the wonderful nature of our planet!

But finally I finished and I hope that you enjoy the outcome ;-)

My intention with this video is to open one's mind, to show that there are so many wonderful things to do and to stimulate the people to see and to discover our mother EARTH. Besides that, I believe in PEACE and that the best way to achieve it is to see and talk, to communicate in order to abolish prejudices and negative images, to make friends and to connect the world with each other, to learn, and to share. So let's spread LOVE over our planet and all its earthlings!

I would like to thank all my friends who helped me realizing my travels and the video:
Emanuel, Mario, Francesca, Manex, Benji, Matthias, Rebekka, Zubin, Kristen, Aldo, Gecki, Melanie, Joel, Alexis, Julia, Brömse, Yukio and Matt Harding
and a many thanks to Fatboy Slim
